The Dixon Studio Tour occurs every year during the first full weekend of November. This year, the Tour will be Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, from 9:00 to 5:00pm. The artists of the Embudo Valley cordially invite you to our studios to celebrate 44 years of fall fun.
The Dixon Studio Tour is in the Embudo Valley in northern New Mexico. It is one hour north of Santa Fe, and 30 minutes south of Taos, on Route 68. it is also just a few miles off the scenic “High Road Tour” from Santa Fe to Taos. Many of the stops on the tour are along the Rio Grande and Embudo rivers. Communities on the tour include Dixon, Embudo, Rinconada, Apodaca, Cañoncito and Questacitas.

Each artist on the Tour accepts different forms of payment. Some artists prefer cash. Please note: there is no ATM in Dixon.

If you are new to the community or have never participated before, please read the Bylaws to determine your eligibility.
The Tour is open to artists and craftspeople who have lived in the communities of Dixon, Embudo, Apodaca, Cañoncito, and Cuestacitas for a full year. To maintain the integrity of the tour for our audience, we will only be accepting applications from the aforementioned communities.
