My dad, Miles Smith, was a potter for 50+ years and participated in the DST for over 20 years! He moved to NM from the Pacific Northwest in 2004 where he continued his artistic work in Dixon. He had a life-long passion for Japanese influences, particularly Sumi Brush drawings; using ceramics as the "canvas" for his paintings. He always considered himself a production potter and produce he did! The studio is still full of it! Work will be priced to sell.
