Kate Raphael Art

This will be Kate’s fourth year on the Dixon Studio Tour. Kate creates collage paintings in her home studio that is tucked into Dixon’s bosque, along the Rio Embudo. Her paintings are bold and textured by layers of torn and cut forms.She uses a wide range of papers, including what was passed down to her through her family: old letters, newspapers from important dates in history, and hand-written ledgers from the family business. Her favorite part of the Dixon Studio Tour is being a part of such a great community and welcoming visitors to the Tour.
