Piano lessons roused my heart into joyous enthusiasm for that soaring "echo of the invisible world" generated by careful placement of fingers, swirling chords, and pounding tempos. Reading black-and-white tailed symbols to the hollow click of a metronome silenced that thrilling music -making. Now, Epona's wild mare whinny slices through the mundane, laughs away domestication, and jolts me awake to the riotously beautiful boutade ever awaiting my attention.
